Ἐκάλεσεν summoned δέ - Ἰακώβ Jacob τούς - υἱούς sons αὐτοῦ his καί and εἶπεν said αὐτοῖς to them: Συνάχθητε, Gather together, ἵνα in order that ἀναγγείλω I may declare ὑμῖν to you τί what ἀπαντήσει will befall ὑμῖν you ἐπ ̓ at ἐσχάτων the last τῶν - ἡμέρων. of days.

συνάχθητε Be gathered together καί and ἀκούσατε listen, μου, to me, υἱοί sons Ἰακώβ. of Jacob.

ἀκούσατε Listen Ἰσραήλ, to Israel; ἀκούσατε hear τοῦ - πατρός father. ὑμῶν. your

Ῥουβήν Reuben, πρωτότοκος first-born, μου, my σύ you (are) ἰσχύς strength μου my καί and ἀρχή the beginning τέκνων children, μου· of my

σκληρός hard φέρεσθαι to be endured καί and σκληρός hard αὐθάδης. stubborn.

ἐξύβρισας You became insolent ὡς like ὕδωρ, water; μή not ἐκζέσῃς· do boil over.

ἀνέβης you went up γάρ For ἐπί upon τήν the κοίτην marriage-bed τοῦ - πατρός father, σου· of your

ἐπικατάρατος Accursed (is) ὁ - θυμός rage, αὐτῶν their ὅτι because αὐθάδης, (it is) remorseless,

καί and ἡ - μῆνις revengeful temper, αὐτῶν their ὅτι because ἐσκληρύνθη· it has been hardened.

διαμεριῶ I will divide αὐτούς them ἐν in Ἰακώβ, Jacob

καί and διασπερῶ I will scatter αὐτούς them ἐν in Ἰσραήλ. Israel.

Ἰούδα, Judah, σέ you, αἰνέσαισαν may praise οἱ - ἀδελφοί brothers σου· your
