Ἰωσήφ Joseph δέ Now κατήχθη was led down εἰς to Αἴγυπτον· Egypt, καί and ἐκτήσατο acquired αὐτόν him Πετεφρῆς Potiphar ὁ the εὐνοῦχος eunuch Φαραώ of Pharaoh, ὁ who ἀρχιμάγειρος, (was) chief guard ἀνήρ man, Αἰγύπτιος, Egyptian ἐκ from χειρῶν hands Ἰσμαηλειτῶν, of the Ishmaelites, οἵ who κατήγαγον led down αὐτόν him ἐκεῖ. there. καί And ἦν was Κύριος (the) LORD μετά with Ἰωσήφ, Joseph, καί and ἦν he was ἀνήρ man ἐπιτυγχάνων· a successful καί and ἐγένετο he came ἐν into τῷ the οἴκῳ house παρά beside τῷ - κυρίῳ lord. τῷ the Αἰγυπτίῳ.
