Ἦλθεν came δέ - Ἰακώβ Jacob πρός to Ἰσαάκ Isaac τόν - πατέρα father αὐτοῦ his εἰς to Μαμβρή, Mamre, εἰς to πόλιν a city τοῦ of the πεδίου· plain αὕτη (this ἐστίν is Χεβρών Hebron) ἐν in γῇ the land Χανάαν, of Canaan, οὗ where παρῴκησεν dwelt. Ἀβραάμ Abraham καί and Ἰσαάκ. Οὗτοι These (are) δέ - υἱοί the sons Σηείρ of Seir τοῦ the Χορραίου Horite τοῦ who κατοικοῦντος inhabits τήν the γῆν· land: Λωτάν, Lotan, Σωβάλ, Shobal, Σεβεγών, Zibeon Ἀνά Anah καί and Δησών Dishon καί and Σάαρ Ezer καί and Ῥεισών· Dishan. οὗτοι These (are) οἱ the ἡγεμόνες chiefs τοῦ - Χορραίου Horite τοῦ the υἱοῦ son Σηείρ of Seir ἐν in τῇ the γῇ land Ἐδώμ. of Edom. ἐγένοντο were δέ - υἱοί (The) sons Λωτάν of Lotan Χορρεί Hori καί and Αἱμάν· Heman. ἀδελφή The sister δέ - Λωτάν of Lotan Θαμνά. Καί And οὗτοι these (are) οἱ the βασιλεῖς kings οἱ who βασιλεύσαντες reigned ἐν in Ἐδώμ Edom πρό before τοῦ - βασιλεῦσαι ruled βασιλέα a king ἐν in Ἰερουσαλήμ. Jerusalem. καί And ἐβασίλευσεν reigned ἐν in Ἐδώμ Edom Βάλακ Balak υἱός the son τοῦ - Βεώρ, of Beor καί and ὄνομα the name τῇ - πόλει city αὐτοῦ of his Δεννάβα. Βαλαεννών Baal-hanan υἱός the son Ἀχοβώρ. of Achbor ἀπέθανεν died, δέ - Βαλαεννών Baal-hanan υἱός the son Ἀχοβώρ, of Achbor καί and ἐβασίλευσεν reigned ἀντ ̓ in the place of αὐτοῦ him, Ἁράθ Arad υἱός the son Βαράθ· of Bered καί and ὄνομα the name τῇ - πόλει city αὐτοῦ of his Φόγωρ· Peor. ὄνομα The name δέ - τῇ - γυναικί wife αὐτοῦ of his Μετεβεήλ, Mehetabel θυγάτηρ the daughter Ματραείθ of Matred υἱοῦ son Μεζοόβ. of Me-zahab. ταῦτα These (are) τά the ὀνόματα names τῶν of the ἡγεμόνων chiefs Ἠσαύ of Esau ἐν in ταῖς - φυλαῖς tribes αὐτῶν their κατά according to τόπον region, αὐτῶν, their ἐν in ταῖς - χώραις towns αὐτῶν their καί and ἐν in τοῖς - ἔθνεσιν nations: αὐτῶν· their ἡγεμών chief Θαμνά, Timna, ἡγεμών chief Γωλά, Alvah, ἡγεμών chief Ἰεβέρ, Ieber, ἡγεμών chief Ἐλιβεμᾶς, Oholibamah, ἡγεμών chief Ἠλᾶς, Elah, ἡγεμών chief Φινές, Pinon, ἡγεμών chief Κενέζ, Kenaz, ἡγεμών chief Θαιμάν, Teman, ἡγεμών chief Μαζάρ, Mibzar, ἡγεμών chief Μετοδιήλ, Magdiel, ἡγεμών chief Ζαφωεί· Zaphoim. οὗτοι These (are) ἡγεμόνες the chiefs Ἐδώμ of Edom ἐν in ταῖς the places κατῳκοδομημέναις built ἐν in τῇ the γῇ land τῆς - κτήσεως possession. αὐτῶν. of their οὗτος This (is) Ἠσαύ Esau πατήρ the father Ἐδώμ. of Edom.

I had dreamed, ᾤμην I was imagining ὑμᾶς you δεσμεύειν were tying together δράγματα sheaves ἐν in μέσῳ the midst τῷ of the πεδίῳ· plain, καί and ἀνέστη arose τό - ἐμόν my δράγμα sheaf καί and ὠρθώθη· stood upright. περιστραφέντα Turning round δέ - τά - δράγματα sheaves ὑμῶν your προσεκύνησαν prostrated themselves to τό - ἐμόν my δράγμα. sheaf. εἶπαν said δέ - αὐτῷ to him: οἱ (His) ἀδελφοί brothers Μή - βασιλεύων While reigning βασιλεύσεις will you reign ἐφ ̓ over ἡμᾶς, us ἤ or κυριεύων while being a lord κυριεύσεις will you lord over ἡμῶν; us? καί And προσέθεντο they increased ἔτι yet μισεῖν to hate αὐτόν him ἕνεκεν on account of τῶν - ἐνυπνίων dreams αὐτοῦ his καί and ἕνεκεν on account of τῶν - ῥημάτων words. αὐτοῦ. his ἴδεν He saw δέ - ἐνύπνιον dream ἕτερον, another καί and διηγήσατο he described αὐτό it τῷ - πατρί father αὐτοῦ (to) his καί and τοῖς - ἀδελφοῖς brothers αὐτοῦ, his καί and εἶπεν he said: Ἰδού Look, ἐνυπνιάσθην I dreamed ἐνύπνιον dream, ἕτερον· another ὥσπερ as though ὁ the ἥλιος sun καί and ἡ the σελήνη moon καί and ἕνδεκα eleven ἀστέρες stars προσεκύνουν were prostrating themselves to με. me. καί And ἐπετίμησεν rebuked αὐτῷ him ὁ - πατήρ father αὐτοῦ his καί and εἶπεν said Τί What (is) τό - ἐνύπνιον dream, τοῦτο this ὅ which ἐνυπνιάσθης; you have dreamed? ἆρα Indeed γέ then, ἐλθόντες having come ἐλευσόμεθα will come ἐγώ I τέ both καί and ἡ - μήτηρ mother σου your καί and οἱ - ἀδελφοί brothers σου your προσκυνῆσαι to bow down σοι to you ἐπί upon τήν the γῆν; earth?
