Κύριος (The) LORD, ὁ the θεός God τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ of heaven καί and ὁ the θεός God τῆς - γῆς, of earth, ὅς who ἔλαβεν took με me ἐκ from τοῦ the οἴκου house τοῦ - πατρός father μου of my καί and ἐκ from τῆς the γῆς land ἧς where ἐγενήθην, I was born, ὅς who ἐλάλησεν spoke μοι to me καί and ὤμοσεν swore μοι to me, λέγων saying: Σοί to you δώσω I will give τήν - γῆν land ταύτην this καί and τῷ - σπέρματι offspring, σου· to your αὐτός he himself ἀποστελεῖ will send τόν - ἄγγελον angel αὐτοῦ his ἔμπροσθεν before σου, you, καί and λήμψῃ you will take γυναῖκα a woman τῷ - υἱῷ son μου (for) my Ἰσαάκ Isaac ἐκεῖθεν. from there. ἐάν If δέ - μή (does) not θέλῃ wish ἡ the γυνή woman πορευθῆναι to go μετά with σοῦ you εἰς to τήν - γῆν land, ταύτην, this καθαρός clear ἔσῃ you will be ἀπό from τοῦ - ὅρκου oath. τούτου· this μόνον Only, τόν - υἱόν son μου my μή not ἀποστρέψῃς you may return ἐκεῖ. there.
Καί So ἔθηκεν placed ὁ the παῖς servant τήν - χεῖρα hand αὐτοῦ his ὑπό under τόν the μηρόν loin Ἀβραάμ of Abraham τοῦ - κυρίου master αὐτοῦ, his καί and ὤμοσεν swore αὐτῷ to him περί concerning τοῦ - ῥήματος matter. τούτου. this καί And ἔλαβεν took ὁ the παῖς servant δέκα ten καμήλους camels ἀπό from τῶν the καμήλων camels τοῦ - κυρίου master αὐτοῦ of his καί and ἀπό from πάντων all τῶν the ἀγαθῶν goods τοῦ - κυρίου master αὐτοῦ of his μεθ ̓ with ἑαυτοῦ, him καί and, ἀναστάς having arisen, ἐπορεύθη he went εἰς to τήν - Μεσοποταμίαν Mesopotamia εἰς to τήν the πόλιν city Ναχώρ. of Nahor καί And ἐκοίμησεν he put to rest τάς the καμήλους camels ἔξω outside τῆς of the πόλεως city παρά beside τό the φρέαρ well τοῦ of the ὕδατος water, τό - πρός toward ὀψέ, evening, ἡνίκα when ἐκπορεύονται go out. αἱ the (females) ὑδρευόμεναι. who fetch water καί And εἶπεν he said: Κύριε O LORD, ὁ - θεός God τοῦ of (my) κυρίου master Ἀβραάμ, Abraham, εὐόδωσον prosper (my way) ἐναντίον before ἐμοῦ me σήμερον today καί and ποίησον practice ἔλεος mercy μετά with τοῦ - κυρίου master μου my Ἀβραάμ. Abraham. ἰδού Look, ἐγώ I ἕστηκα have stood ἐπί at τῆς the πηγῆς spring τοῦ - ὕδατος, of water αἱ the δέ and θυγατέρες daughters τῶν of those οἰκούντων inhabiting τήν the πόλιν city ἐκπορεύονται are coming out ἀντλῆσαι to draw ὕδωρ. water. καί And ἔσται it will be ἡ - παρθένος young girl ᾗ which ἄν -ever ἐγώ I εἴπω tell: Ἐπίκλινον Incline τήν - ὑδρίαν pitcher, σου your ἵνα in order that πίω, I may drink, καί and εἴπῃ she says μοι to me: Πίε Do drink σύ, - καί and τάς - καμήλους camels σου your ποτιῶ I will water ἕως until ἄν - παύσωνται they cease πίνουσαι, drinking, ταύτην this one ἡτοίμασας you have prepared τῷ - παιδί servant σου (for) your Ἰσαάκ· Isaac, καί and ἐν by τούτῳ this γνώσομαι I will know ὅτι that ἐποίησας you practiced ἔλεος mercy τῷ - κυρίῳ master μου (for) my Ἀβραάμ.
