Καί And Ἀβραάμ Abraham ἦν was πρεσβύτερος old, προβεβηκώς advanced ἡμερῶν, in days, καί and Κύριος (the) LORD εὐλόγησεν blessed τόν - Ἀβραάμ Abraham κατά in πάντα. all things. καί And εἶπεν said Ἀβραάμ Abraham τῷ - παιδί servant αὐτοῦ, to his τῷ the πρεσβυτέρῳ oldest τῆς - οἰκίας house αὐτοῦ, of his τῷ (who was) ἄρχοντι overseer πάντων of all things τῶν (that were) αὐτοῦ his: Θές Put τήν - χεῖρα hand σου your ὑπό under τόν - μηρόν loin, μου, my καί and ἐξορκίσω I will make swear σε you Κύριον by (the) LORD, τόν the θεόν God τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ of heaven καί and τῆς of the γῆς, earth, ἵνα that μή not λάβῃς you take γυναῖκα a woman τῷ - υἱῷ son μου (for) my Ἰσαάκ Isaac ἀπό from τῶν the θυγατέρων daughters τῶν of the Χαναναίων, Canaanites μεθ ̓ with ὧν whom ἐγώ I οἰκῶ live, μετ ̓ amongst αὐτῶν· them. ἀλλά but εἰς to τήν - γῆν land, μου my οὗ where ἐγενόμην I was born, πορεύσῃ you will go καί and εἰς to τήν - φυλήν tribe, μου, my καί and λήμψῃ you will take γυναῖκα a woman τῷ - υἱῷ son μου (for) my Ἰσαάκ Isaac ἐκεῖθεν, from there. εἶπεν said δέ - πρός to αὐτόν him: ὁ The παῖς servant Μή not ποτέ when οὐ not βούλεται is willing ἡ the γυνή woman πορευθῆναι to go μετ ̓ with ἐμοῦ me ὀπίσω back εἰς to τήν - γῆν land. ταύτην· this ἀποστρέψω Will I bring back τόν - υἱόν son σου your εἰς to τήν the γῆν land, ὅθεν from where ἐξῆλθες you came ἐκεῖθεν from there? εἶπεν said δέ - πρός to αὐτόν him: Ἀβραάμ Abraham Πρόσεχε Be careful σεαυτῷ for yourself. μή (Do) not ἀποστρέψῃς return τόν - υἱόν son μου my ἐκεῖ· there. Κύριος (The) LORD, ὁ the θεός God τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ of heaven καί and ὁ the θεός God τῆς - γῆς, of earth, ὅς who ἔλαβεν took με me ἐκ from τοῦ the οἴκου house τοῦ - πατρός father μου of my καί and ἐκ from τῆς the γῆς land ἧς where ἐγενήθην, I was born, ὅς who ἐλάλησεν spoke μοι to me καί and ὤμοσεν swore μοι to me, λέγων saying: Σοί to you δώσω I will give τήν - γῆν land ταύτην this καί and τῷ - σπέρματι offspring, σου· to your αὐτός he himself ἀποστελεῖ will send τόν - ἄγγελον angel αὐτοῦ his ἔμπροσθεν before σου, you, καί and λήμψῃ you will take γυναῖκα a woman τῷ - υἱῷ son μου (for) my Ἰσαάκ Isaac ἐκεῖθεν. from there. ἐάν If δέ - μή (does) not θέλῃ wish ἡ the γυνή woman πορευθῆναι to go μετά with σοῦ you εἰς to τήν - γῆν land, ταύτην, this καθαρός clear ἔσῃ you will be ἀπό from τοῦ - ὅρκου oath. τούτου· this μόνον Only, τόν - υἱόν son μου my μή not ἀποστρέψῃς you may return ἐκεῖ. there.
