Μετά After ταῦτα these things ἤκουσα I heard ὡς [something] like φωνήν a voice μεγάλην loud ὄχλου of a multitude πολλοῦ great ἐν in τῷ - οὐρανῷ heaven, λεγόντων· crying out: Ἁλληλουϊά· Hallelujah! ἡ The σωτηρία salvation καί and ἡ the δόξα glory καί and ἡ the δύναμις power τοῦ to the Θεοῦ God ἡμῶν, of us! ὅτι For ἀληθιναί true καί and δίκαιαι righteous [are] αἱ the κρίσεις judgments αὐτοῦ· of Him, ὅτι because ἔκρινεν He has judged τήν the πόρνην prostitute τήν - μεγάλην great, ἥτις who ἔφθειρεν had corrupted τήν the γῆν earth ἐν with τῇ the πορνείᾳ sexual immorality αὐτῆς, of her, καί and ἐξεδίκησεν He has avenged τό the αἷμα blood τῶν of the δούλων servants αὐτοῦ of Him, ἐκ out of χειρός [the] hand αὐτῆς. of her.

Καί And δεύτερον a second time εἴρηκαν· they said: Ἁλληλουϊά· Hallelujah! καί And ὁ the καπνός smoke αὐτῆς of her ἀναβαίνει goes up εἰς to τούς the αἰῶνας ages τῶν of the αἰώνων. ages.

Καί And ἔπεσαν fell down οἱ the πρεσβύτεροι elders οἱ - εἴκοσι twenty τέσσαρες four καί and τά the τέσσαρα four ζῷα living creatures, καί and προσεκύνησαν they worshiped τῷ - Θεῷ God, τῷ the [One] καθημένῳ sitting ἐπί on τῷ the θρόνῳ throne, λέγοντες· saying: Ἀμήν Amen, Ἁλληλουϊά. Hallelujah!

Καί And φωνή a voice ἀπό from τοῦ the θρόνου throne ἐξῆλθεν came forth, λέγουσα· saying: Αἰνεῖτε Praise τῷ the Θεῷ God ἡμῶν of us, πάντες all οἱ the δοῦλοι servants αὐτοῦ of Him, καί and οἱ those φοβούμενοι fearing αὐτόν, Him, οἱ the μικροί small καί and οἱ the μεγάλοι. great!

Καί And ἤκουσα I heard ὡς [something] like φωνήν [the] voice ὄχλου of a multitude πολλοῦ great, καί and ὡς like φωνήν [the] sound ὑδάτων of waters πολλῶν many, καί and ὡς like φωνήν a sound βροντῶν of thunders ἰσχυρῶν mighty, λεγόντων· saying: Ἁλληλουϊά, Hallelujah! ὅτι For ἐβασίλευσεν has reigned Κύριος [the] Lord ὁ - Θεός God ἡμῶν of us ὁ the Παντοκράτωρ. Almighty. χαίρωμεν We should rejoice καί and ἀγαλλιῶμεν should exult, καί and δώσομεν will give τήν the δόξαν glory αὐτῷ, to Him, ὅτι because ἦλθεν has come ὁ the γάμος marriage τοῦ of the Ἀρνίου Lamb, καί and ἡ the γυνή bride αὐτοῦ of Him ἡτοίμασεν has made ready ἑαυτήν herself.

καί And ἐδόθη it was given αὐτῇ to her ἵνα that περιβάληται she should be clothed in βύσσινον fine linen, λαμπρόν bright, καθαρόν· pure.

Τό - γάρ For βύσσινον the fine linen, τά the δικαιώματα righteous acts τῶν of the ἁγίων saints ἐστίν. is.

Καί And εἶδον I saw τόν - οὐρανόν heaven ἠνεῳγμένον, having been opened, καί and ἰδού behold, ἵππος a horse λευκός white, καί and ὁ the [One] καθήμενος sitting ἐπ ̓ upon αὐτόν it, καλούμενος called Πιστός Faithful καί and Ἀληθινός, True, καί and ἐν in δικαιοσύνῃ righteousness κρίνει He judges καί and πολεμεῖ. makes war. οἱ - δέ And ὀφθαλμοί the eyes αὐτοῦ of Him ὡς [are] like φλόξ a flame πυρός, of fire, καί and ἐπί upon τήν the κεφαλήν head αὐτοῦ of Him διαδήματα royal crowns πολλά, many, ἔχων having ὄνομα a name γεγραμμένον having been written, ὅ which οὐδείς no one οἶδεν knows, εἰ if μή not αὐτός, He Himself, καί and περιβεβλημένος having been clothed with ἱμάτιον a garment βεβαμμένον having been dipped αἵματι, in blood. καί And κέκληται is called τό the ὄνομα name αὐτοῦ of Him, ὁ The Λόγος Word τοῦ - Θεοῦ. of God.

Καί And τά the στρατεύματα armies τά who were ἐν in τῷ - οὐρανῷ heaven ἠκολούθει were following αὐτῷ Him ἐφ ̓ upon ἵπποις horses λευκοῖς, white, ἐνδεδυμένοι having been clothed in βύσσινον fine linen, λευκόν white, καθαρόν. pure. καί And ἐκ out of τοῦ the στόματος mouth αὐτοῦ of Him ἐκπορεύεται goes forth ῥομφαία a sword ὀξεῖα, sharp, ἵνα so that ἐν with αὐτῇ it πατάξῃ He may strike down τά the ἔθνη, nations; καί and αὐτός He ποιμανεῖ will shepherd αὐτούς them ἐν with ῥάβδῳ a rod σιδηρᾷ, of iron. καί And αὐτός He πατεῖ treads τήν the ληνόν press τοῦ of the οἴνου wine τοῦ of the θυμοῦ fury τῆς of the ὀργῆς wrath τοῦ - Θεοῦ of God τοῦ the Παντοκράτορος, Almighty. καί And ἔχει He has ἐπί upon τό the ἱμάτιον robe καί and ἐπί upon τόν the μηρόν thigh αὐτοῦ of Him ὄνομα a name γεγραμμένον· having been written: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ King ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ of Kings ΚΑΙ and ΚΥΡΙΟΣ Lord ΚΥΡΙΩΝ. of Lords.

Καί And εἶδον I saw ἕνα one ἄγγελον angel ἑστῶτα standing ἐν in τῷ the ἡλίῳ sun, καί and ἔκραξεν he cried out ἐν in φωνῇ a voice μεγάλῃ loud, λέγων saying πᾶσιν to all τοῖς the ὀρνέοις birds τοῖς - πετομένοις flying ἐν in μεσουρανήματι· mid-heaven,

Δεῦτε Come, συνάχθητε gather yourselves εἰς unto τό the δεῖπνον supper τό - μέγα great τοῦ - Θεοῦ of God, ἵνα so that φάγητε you may eat σάρκας [the] flesh βασιλέων of kings, καί and σάρκας [the] flesh χιλιάρχων of commanders, καί and σάρκας [the] flesh ἰσχυρῶν of mighty [men], καί and σάρκας [the] flesh ἵππων of horses καί and τῶν of those καθημένων sitting ἐπ ̓ on αὐτῶν them, καί and σάρκας [the] flesh πάντων of all, ἐλευθέρων free τέ both καί and δούλων slaves, καί and μικρῶν small καί and μεγάλων. great.

Καί And εἶδον I saw τό the θηρίον beast, καί and τούς the βασιλεῖς kings τῆς of the γῆς earth, καί and τά the στρατεύματα armies αὐτῶν of them, συνηγμένα having been gathered together ποιῆσαι to make τόν - πόλεμον war μετά with τοῦ the [One] καθημένου sitting ἐπί on τοῦ the ἵππου horse καί and μετά with τοῦ the στρατεύματος army αὐτοῦ. of Him. καί And ἐπιάσθη was captured τό the θηρίον beast, καί and μετ ̓ with αὐτοῦ him ὁ the ψευδοπροφήτης false prophet, ὁ the [one] ποιήσας having done τά the σημεῖα signs ἐνώπιον before αὐτοῦ, him, ἐν by οἷς which ἐπλάνησεν he deceived τούς those λαβόντας having received τό the χάραγμα mark τοῦ of the θηρίου beast καί and τούς those προσκυνοῦντας worshiping τῇ the εἰκόνι image αὐτοῦ· of it, ζῶντες living ἐβλήθησαν were cast οἱ the δύο two εἰς into τήν the λίμνην lake τοῦ - πυρός of fire, τῆς - καιομένης burning ἐν with θείῳ. brimstone. καί And οἱ the λοιποί rest ἀπεκτάνθησαν were killed ἐν with τῇ the ῥομφαίᾳ sword τοῦ of the [One] καθημένου sitting ἐπί on τοῦ the ἵππου horse τῇ - ἐξελθούσῃ having gone forth ἐκ out of τοῦ the στόματος mouth αὐτοῦ, of him. Καί And πάντα all τά the ὄρνεα birds ἐχορτάσθησαν were filled ἐκ with τῶν the σαρκῶν flesh αὐτῶν. of them.

Καί And εἶδον I saw ἄγγελον an angel καταβαίνοντα descending ἐκ out of τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ heaven, ἔχοντα holding τήν the κλεῖν key τῆς of the ἀβύσσου Abyss, καί and ἅλυσιν a chain μεγάλην great ἐπί in τήν the χεῖρα hand αὐτοῦ. of him. καί And ἐκράτησεν he seized τόν the δράκοντα, dragon, ὁ the ὄφις serpent ὁ - ἀρχαῖος, ancient, ὅς who ἐστίν is Διάβολος [the] devil καί and ὁ - Σατανᾶς, Satan, καί and ἔδησεν bound αὐτόν him χίλια for a thousand ἔτη years. καί And ἔβαλεν he cast αὐτόν him εἰς into τήν the ἄβυσσον Abyss, καί and ἔκλεισεν shut καί and ἐσφράγισεν sealed [it] ἐπάνω over αὐτοῦ, him, ἵνα so that μή not πλανήσῃ he should deceive ἔτι any longer τά the ἔθνη nations, ἄχρι until τελεσθῇ were completed τά the χίλια thousand ἔτη. years. μετά After these ταῦτα things, δεῖ it is necessary for λυθῆναι to be released αὐτόν him μικρόν for a little χρόνον. time.

Καί And εἶδον I saw θρόνους thrones, καί and ἐκάθισαν they sat ἐπ ̓ upon αὐτούς them, καί and κρίμα judgment ἐδόθη was given αὐτοῖς, to them, καί and τάς the ψυχάς souls τῶν of those πεπελεκισμένων having been beheaded διά because of τήν the μαρτυρίαν testimony Ἰησοῦ of Jesus καί and διά because of τόν the λόγον word τοῦ - θεοῦ of God, καί and οἵτινες those who οὐ not προσεκύνησαν did worship τό the θηρίον beast, οὐδέ nor τήν the εἰκόνα image αὐτοῦ of him, καί and οὐ not ἔλαβον did take τό the χάραγμα mark ἐπί upon τό the μέτωπον forehead, καί and ἐπί upon τήν the χεῖρα hand αὐτῶν. of them. καί And ἔζησαν they lived καί and ἐβασίλευσαν reigned μετά with τοῦ - χριστοῦ Christ χίλια a thousand ἔτη. years. οἱ The λοιποί rest τῶν of the νεκρῶν dead οὐ not ἔζησαν lived again ἄχρι until τελεσθῇ shall have been completed τά the χίλια thousand ἔτη. years.

αὕτη This [is] ἡ the ἀνάστασις resurrection ἡ - πρώτη. first. μακάριος Blessed καί and ἅγιος holy [is] ὁ the [one] ἔχων having μέρος a part ἐν in τῇ the ἀναστάσει resurrection τῇ - πρώτῃ· first! ἐπί Over τούτων these ὁ the δεύτερος second θάνατος death οὐ not ἔχει has ἐξουσίαν, power, ἀλλ ̓ but ἔσονται they will be ἱερεῖς priests τοῦ - Θεοῦ of God καί and τοῦ - Χριστοῦ of Christ, καί and βασιλεύσουσιν will reign μετ ̓ with αὐτοῦ Him τά a χίλια thousand ἔτη. years.

Καί And ὅταν when τελεσθῇ shall have been completed τά the χίλια thousand ἔτη, years, λυθήσεται will be released ὁ - Σατανᾶς Satan ἐκ out of τῆς the φυλακῆς prison αὐτοῦ of him, καί and ἐξελεύσεται will go out πλανῆσαι to deceive τά the ἔθνη nations τά - ἐν in ταῖς the τέσσαρσιν four γωνίαις corners τῆς of the γῆς, earth, τόν - Γώγ Gog καί and Μαγώγ, Magog, συναγαγεῖν to gather together αὐτούς them εἰς unto τόν the πόλεμον, war, ὧν of whom ὁ the ἀριθμός number [is] αὐτῶν of them ὡς like ἡ the ἄμμος sand τῆς of the θαλάσσης. sea. Καί And ἀνέβησαν they marched up ἐπί over τό the πλάτος breadth τῆς of the γῆς earth καί and ἐκύκλευσαν encircled τήν the παρεμβολήν camp τῶν of the ἁγίων saints καί and τήν the πόλιν city τήν - ἠγαπημένην, having been beloved. καί But κατέβη came down πῦρ fire ἐκ out of τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ heaven καί and κατέφαγεν devoured αὐτούς. them. καί And ὁ the διάβολος devil, ὁ the [one] πλανῶν deceiving αὐτούς them, ἐβλήθη was cast εἰς into τήν the λίμνην lake τοῦ - πυρός of fire καί and θείου of sulfur, ὅπου where [are] καί also τό the θηρίον beast καί and ὁ the ψευδοπροφήτης, false prophet; καί and βασανισθήσονται they will be tormented ἡμέρας day καί and νυκτός night εἰς to τούς the αἰῶνας ages τῶν of the αἰώνων. ages.

Καί And εἶδον I saw θρόνον a throne μέγαν great λευκόν white, καί and τόν the [One] καθήμενον sitting ἐπ ̓ on αὐτόν, it, οὗ whose ἀπό from τοῦ - προσώπου face ἔφυγεν fled ἡ the γῆ earth καί and ὁ - οὐρανός heaven, καί and τόπος place οὐ not εὑρέθη was found αὐτοῖς. for them. καί And εἶδον I saw τούς the νεκρούς, dead, τούς - μεγάλους great καί and τούς - μικρούς, small, ἑστῶτας standing ἐνώπιον before τοῦ the θρόνου. throne, καί and βιβλία books ἠνοίχθησαν, were opened. Καί And ἄλλο another βιβλίον book ἠνοίχθη, was opened, ὅ which ἐστίν is τῆς the [one] ζωῆς, of life. καί And ἐκρίθησαν were judged οἱ the νεκροί dead ἐκ out of τῶν the things γεγραμμένων having been written ἐν in τοῖς the βιβλίοις books, κατά according to τά the ἔργα deeds αὐτῶν. of them. καί And ἔδωκεν gave up ἡ the θάλασσα sea τούς the νεκρούς dead τούς who were ἐν in αὐτῇ it; καί and ὁ - θάνατος Death καί and ὁ - ᾅδης Hades ἔδωκαν gave up τούς the νεκρούς dead τούς who were ἐν in αὐτοῖς, them; καί and ἐκρίθησαν they were judged ἕκαστος each [of them] κατά according to τά the ἔργα works αὐτῶν. of them. Καί And ὁ - θάνατος Death καί and ὁ - ᾅδης Hades ἐβλήθησαν were cast εἰς into τήν the λίμνην lake τοῦ - πυρός. of fire. οὗτος This ὁ the θάνατος death ὁ - δεύτερος second ἐστίν, is ἡ the λίμνη lake τοῦ of πυρός. fire. καί And εἴ if τὶς anyone οὐ not εὑρέθη was found ἐν in τῇ the βίβλῳ book τῆς - ζωῆς of life γεγραμμένος, having been written, ἐβλήθη he was cast εἰς into τήν the λίμνην lake τοῦ - πυρός. of fire.

Καί And εἶδον I saw οὐρανόν a heaven καινόν new, καί and γῆν an earth καινήν. new, ὁ - γάρ for πρῶτος the first οὐρανός heaven καί and ἡ the πρώτη first γῆ earth ἀπῆλθαν had passed away, καί and ἡ the θάλασσα sea οὐ not ἔστιν is ἔτι. any longer. καί And τήν the πόλιν city τήν - ἁγίαν holy, Ἰερουσαλήμ [the] Jerusalem καινήν new, εἶδον I saw καταβαίνουσαν coming down ἐκ out of τοῦ - οὐρανοῦ heaven ἀπό from τοῦ - Θεοῦ God, ἡτοιμασμένην having been prepared ὡς as νύμφην a bride κεκοσμημένην having been adorned τῷ for the ἀνδρί husband αὐτῆς. of her. Καί And ἤκουσα I heard φωνῆς a voice μεγάλης great ἐκ from τοῦ the θρόνου throne, λεγούσης· saying:

Ἰδού Behold, ἡ the σκηνή tabernacle τοῦ - Θεοῦ of God μετά [is] with τῶν - ἀνθρώπων, men, καί and σκηνώσει He will tabernacle μετ ̓ with αὐτῶν, them, καί and αὐτοί they λαοί peoples αὐτοῦ of Him ἔσονται, will be, καί and αὐτός Himself ὁ - Θεός God μετ ̓ with αὐτῶν them ἔσται will be αὐτῶν [as] their θεός, God. καί And ἐξαλείψει He will wipe away πᾶν every δάκρυον tear ἐκ from τῶν the ὀφθαλμῶν eyes αὐτῶν, of them, καί and ὁ - θάνατος death οὐ not ἔσται will be ἔτι any longer οὔτε nor πένθος mourning οὔτε nor κραυγή crying οὔτε nor πόνος pain; οὐ not ἔσται they will be ἔτι, any longer, ὅτι because τά the πρῶτα former things ἀπῆλθαν. have passed away.

Καί And εἶπεν said ὁ the [One] καθήμενος sitting ἐπί on τῷ the θρόνῳ· throne, Ἰδού Behold, καινά new ποιῶ I make πάντα all things. καί And λέγει· He says, Γράψον, Write [this], ὅτι because οὗτοι these οἱ the λόγοι words πιστοί faithful καί and ἀληθινοί true εἰσίν. are.
