Τάς - δέ And νεωτερικάς youthful ἐπιθυμίας lusts φεῦγε, flee; δίωκε pursue δέ now δικαιοσύνην righteousness, πίστιν faith, ἀγάπην love, εἰρήνην [and] peace, μετά along with τῶν those ἐπικαλουμένων calling on τόν the Κύριον Lord ἐκ out of καθαρᾶς pure καρδίας. a heart. Διαμαρτύρομαι I earnestly declare ἐνώπιον before τοῦ - Θεοῦ God καί and Χριστοῦ Christ Ἰησοῦ Jesus, τοῦ the [One] μέλλοντος being about κρίνειν to judge ζῶντας [the] living καί and νεκρούς, [the] dead, καί and τήν by the ἐπιφάνειαν appearing αὐτοῦ of Him καί and τήν the βασιλείαν kingdom αὐτοῦ· of Him: κήρυξον Preach τόν the λόγον, word; ἐπίστηθι be ready εὐκαίρως in season ἀκαίρως, [and] out of season; ἔλεγξον, convict, ἐπιτίμησον, rebuke, παρακάλεσον, [and] exhort, ἐν with πάσῃ complete μακροθυμίᾳ patience καί and διδαχῇ. instruction. Σύ You δέ however, νῆφε be sober ἐν in πᾶσιν, all things, κακοπάθησον, endure afflictions, ἔργον [the] work ποίησον do εὐαγγελιστοῦ, of an evangelist, τήν the διακονίαν ministry σου of you πληροφόρησον. fully carry out.
